OEN NewsOregon Entrepreneurs Network Announces 2024 Board of Directors

Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) has named a new board of directors with two members joining fourteen returning members as well as a new Executive Committee.

After a year under President and Executive Director Cara Turano’s leadership, the OEN board is retaining the majority of its members as the organization continues to stabilize. The 2024 board recruitment process was highly intentional this year to ensure the relatively small number of additional directors bring diverse skills and perspectives.

The new board members include:

The returning members are Claire Brown, Ryan Comingdeer, Corey Frazier, Michael Goetz, Dave Hansen, Mary Hull, Anne Lipsitz, Deepthi Madhava, Beth Nguyen, Scé Pike, Scott Sandler, Deepa Seshan, Mike White and John Williams. Michael Goetz, Assistant Director at Newmark, was elected to serve as Board Chair with Scé Pike in the Vice-Chair role. Board terms are two years and the directors’ guide OEN’s work supporting entrepreneurs across Oregon and SW Washington.

“The OEN Board of Directors was really active as a working board in 2023 and it is exciting that many of the directors are committed to supporting the organization for another year,” said Turano, in a written statement. “The new directors bring a breadth of perspective as both entrepreneurs and investors that help OEN best serve the region’s entrepreneurs.”
