Angel Oregon

Build Capital Readiness. Build Connections. Build What’s Next.

Launched in the late 1990s, Angel Oregon began as an annual event where emerging companies presented their pitches to investors, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.

Today, Angel Oregon has evolved into a five-week Capital & Funding Literacy program designed for early-stage founders in Oregon and Southwest Washington who are preparing to raise capital and scale their companies.

Founders participate in one of three industry-focused programs: Technology, Consumer Packaged Goods, or Life & Bioscience. Through hands-on education, investor feedback, and connections across their industry ecosystem, founders gain the tools and confidence to navigate the funding landscape and prepare for growth.

AOCPG supports founders across the full consumer product spectrum – including food, beverage, personal care, wellness, lifestyle, and pet products.

Investment Deployment: June

AOTECH supports founders across the technology spectrum, including software, artificial intelligence, hardware, SaaS, cybersecurity, climate tech, and other emerging technologies.

Investment Deployment: August

AOBIO supports founders across the life and bioscience spectrum, including biotechnology, medical devices, digital health, diagnostics, therapeutics, and other emerging life science technologies.

Investment Deployment: December

Angel Oregon offers two cohorts each year, one in the spring and one in the fall, giving early-stage founders more opportunities to build their capital and fundraising knowledge throughout the year.

Founders learn to:

  • Understand the capital stack and how to access different types of capital
  • Build fundraising literacy and confidence to make informed funding decisions
  • Strengthen their foundations across brand, operations, financials, and growth strategy
  • Connect with engaged investors and industry ecosystem leaders
  • Prepare for successful capital raises, both now and in the future

“Angel Oregon packed an incredible amount of depth and expertise into five weeks. It gave us the focus, knowledge, and confidence to get investment ready.”

Since 2005, more than 2,000 founders have participated in Angel Oregon, with more than $6 million directly invested through Oregon Entrepreneurs Network’s Angel Oregon LLCs.

The impact goes beyond OEN-managed investments. Angel Oregon has helped catalyze additional investment from individual investors, community organizations, and venture funds, connecting founders with capital and relationships that can support their companies well beyond the program.

Angel Oregon continues to evolve with the needs of founders, helping build a more informed, connected, and investment-ready entrepreneurial community across Oregon and Southwest Washington.
