OEN Tom Holce Entrepreneurship Awards

Each fall, over 600 local business leaders converge at the OEN Tom Holce Entrepreneurship Awards to honor Oregon’s brightest, boldest, and best entrepreneurs. Now in its 25th year, the OEN Awards Dinner is Oregon’s largest and most prestigious business networking event.

“When my co-founder and I discovered OEN, it was like being welcomed into an extended family. Suddenly, we had a friendly, helpful community that we could call on when we got stuck or needed advice.”

Junea Rocha, Founder of Brazi Bites

OEN PubTalk

OEN’s monthly PubTalk™ is our flagship monthly happy hour, a perfect starting point for new community members and a great place for established members to make new connections. Held the second Wednesday of every month (excluding August and December), OEN PubTalks are what the name implies — an hour of networking followed by a talk on a specified theme. Attendance ranges from 70-100 entrepreneurs.

When we started our business a few years ago I had attended some local business meet-and-greets and I felt that they were a waste of time. So I stopped going to them. This is NOT the case with OEN. Every OEN PubTalk I’ve attended I’ve learned something new, or met a valuable connection or resource.”

Christine Enderby, Founder, Nuzzle

Startup Resources Tradeshow

OEN’s Startup Resource Tradeshow is the perfect starting point for new entrepreneurs trying to navigate Oregon’s startup ecosystem. Typically attracting a crowd of over 150, the Tradeshow features representatives from local organizations, accelerators, incubators, universities, and government programs that provide support, mentorship and potential funding for entrepreneurs.

Oregon has a great reputation for its entrepreneur support community and programs. OEN’s Startup Resources Tradeshow is one of the best opportunities to meet that community.”

Coaching Program

OEN’s new Coaching Program offers entrepreneurs an opportunity to meet with a cohort of 10-15 peers on a monthly basis for six months. The program is facilitated by a professional coach, who will bring relevant discussion topics to the table and invite guest speakers. This is a highly targeted sponsorship opportunity that offers not only visibility, but a chance to meaningfully engage with entrepreneurs during a transformative stage of their growth.

Eric Winquist, CEO & Founder, Jama Software

Mentorship was a really big part of Jama’s success. The people in the OEN network were my cheerleaders, and that counts for a lot. It helps you get through and persevere. OEN is a place where you can go get reenergized, where you can pick up and go try again, where you feel like you can do anything.”

Eric Winquist, Founder, Jama
