“We are deeply honored to be the recipient of the 2023 Emerge Award from the Oregon Angel Food program, especially considering the innovative participants in the event. We would like to thank the sponsors of the award, which will make it possible for us to expand our manufacturing” said Veronica Palazzo of Nut-Tritious Foods.

For the fifth year Oregon Entrepreneur Network, in partnership with SEDCOR and Xcelerate Women, hosted forty companies for an eight-week education series featuring experienced food and beverage entrepreneurs and local retailers. Participants had the opportunity to meet peers and a community of local investors, service providers and agencies available to support their business success.

The OregonAF program culminated with a one-day Marketplace at Chemeketa Community College Agriculture Complex in Salem where fifty food and beverage vendors took over the entire venue. Attendees were able to sample, sip and buy from craft food and beverage entrepreneurs from around the Pacific Northwest.

“The food and beverage companies starting around the state are quite impressive,” said Cara Turano, President and Executive Director of OEN. “Selecting one winner for the Emerge Initiative is challenging as there are so many delicious and innovative concept stage companies. Congratulations to Veronica and the Nut-Tritious Foods team and thank you to The BFM Fund for the continued partnership on this program.”
