SEMpdx’s Engage Conference Slated for October 17-18
Portland, Ore. — SEMpdx is excited to announce the return of its premier digital marketing conference, Engage, to two full in-person days October 17 and 18, 2024. Thirty industry experts will be featured in three educational tracks that include artificial intelligence (AI), search engine optimization (SEO), and a mix of content marketing, paid media and other trending topics.
WHAT: The first day will kick-off with the always-engaging Wil Reynolds (Seer Interactive), followed by a variety of presentations by speakers such as Colin Lee (Microsoft) and Michael King (iPullRank), both discussing AI.
The second day will open with Rachel Heseltine (CBS Interactive at Paramount Global), followed by a mixture of presentations by speakers such as Rand Fishkin (SparkToro) discussing AI, and Ian Lurie discussing content marketing, concluded by a keynote from Michelle Robbins (LinkedIn).
Lunch and breakfast will be served both days, along with happy hour and mingling ending both evenings.
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 17 and Friday, Oct. 18, from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

SEMpdx’s 2024 Charity of Choice is Taking Ownership, a volunteer-based nonprofit that renovates Black-owned homes, enabling Black homeowners to age-in-place, generate wealth and combat systemic gentrification. Throughout the year, SEMpdx will provide the nonprofit with pro-bono SEO assistance and will match donations made during SEMpdx events up to $2,500.

Each fall, hundreds of entrepreneurs and investors from around the country descend on Bend for a two-day celebration of entrepreneurship. Now in its 21st year, BVC is the longest standing and largest angel investment conference in the Pacific Northwest and has served as a catalyst for startup investment in Central Oregon.
Since its inception, the BVC LLC Funds have awarded over $14 million in investment, and companies participating in BVC have leveraged connections from the conference to receive tens of millions in additional funding. Throughout the conference, attendees hear company pitches, break away for networking events at local restaurants and learn from aspiring entrepreneurs and industry thought leaders.
