Entrepreneurs, makers, and side-hustlers across Gilliam, Sherman, Wheeler, Morrow, & beyond: bring a challenge, leave with next steps.

The goal is simple: progress through conversation.

The Grind is a casual, open gathering where entrepreneurs, creatives, makers, side-hustlers, and community supporters come together to share ideas, solve problems, and help each other move forward.

Whether you’re building a business, exploring a new idea, or simply curious about entrepreneurship, The Grind is designed to be a welcoming space to think out loud, get feedback, and connect with people who want to help ideas grow.

By the end of the evening, participants can leave with:

• Fresh perspectives on their ideas or challenges
• New connections with entrepreneurs and community supporters
• Introductions to helpful resources or people
• Clarity on next steps

The event is intentionally informal and conversational. You’re welcome to come for the whole time or drop in as your schedule allows.

The Grind is brought to you by the Oregon Frontier Innovation Hub in partnership with the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, the Oregon Frontier Chamber of Commerce, and Mid Columbia Economic Development District.

Why Attend?

The Grind exists because great ideas often grow through conversation.

It’s a place where you can:

• Share something you’re working on
• Ask for help or perspective
• Meet other entrepreneurs and builders
• Connect with people who support local innovation
• Explore resources that can help you move forward

You might arrive with a question and leave with a clearer direction, a new collaborator, or a useful connection you didn’t expect.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening of conversation, creativity, and community as we explore ideas and help each other move forward.

The Oregon Frontier Innovation Hub is an initiative of the Rural Engagement & Vitality Center and is made possible by Business Oregon. We connect people building innovative, traded-sector businesses to funding, expertise, mentors, and talent, at no cost to you.
