Women-owned businesses are on the rise, and there are a significant number of micro/small businesses being created by women. There are many dynamics that impact woman entrepreneur/business owners that are not shared by men in business. This roundtable series is designed to give women business owners a place to share ideas, receive helpful insights from peers, and benefit from the experiences of SCORE volunteers and other SMEs.

This roundtable will be co-facilitated by Abby Lambert and Marilyn Scott of SCORE Portland with guest subject matter expert and SCORE Mentor Elizabeth Koski:
Abby Lambert has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and design for small businesses and startups. Much of Abby’s time has been spent in the agency world of marketing, strategic planning, and project management. As a woman in business, Abby brings first-hand knowledge of how to grow a business using traditional and new marketing tools.
Marilyn Scott has been a SCORE volunteer for several years. Her professional background is in Human Resources and Org. Development, and she has worked for both nonprofit and for-profit companies. As a SCORE volunteer, Marilyn has served as Portland Chapter Chair and Oregon District Director. She is currently the Northwest Region Vice President, supporting SCORE chapters in the five states in the Northwest.
