First came Hood River, then Los Angeles.

Now, Portland co-working company CENTRL Office is taking its outside-of-Portland expansion to the Lone Star state.

CENTRL plans to open what will be its sixth co-working outpost in Dallas inside Saint Paul Place, a 22-story office building in the Dallas Arts District. It will occupy two floors totaling 23,000 square feet — enough to offer 300 desks for co-working tenants.

CENTRL is partnering with Dallas real estate investor Quadrant Investment Properties on the new space, which should open in January 2019.

“The partnership with Quadrant is perfect. We share the same vision of providing highly functional workspace aesthetics coupled with unsurpassed service supported by technology,” said Jeff Arthur, co-founder of CENTRL Office, in a release. “We also both believe that co-working is an essential element for tenancy in Class A office to build a well-rounded tenant base and future growth.”

CENTRL expects to open two or three more locations in the Dallas market after the first one gets up and running.

The company’s expansion to Texas comes just a few months after it announced plans to open its first location outside of Oregon in Los Angeles. Both that location and CENTRL’s Hood River office are currently under construction.
