Emma McIlroy couldn’t figure out why people kept sending congratulatory emails yesterday. Finally, someone apprised her: McIlroy and Julia Parsley, the founders of the Portland apparel company Wildfang, were named to the first-ever Upstart 100. The list, from the American City Business Journals publication that covers all things entrepreneurial, honored the Wildfang duo for, among other traits, its Band of Thieves line that’s “aimed at rascals, rockers, heroines, and hellions.”
