Webinar: A business law presentation on what is needed at the state and federal level to form a nonprofit.

Elena Fewell Howard, JD of Rational Unicorn Legal Services brings us a primer on alternatives and considerations before forming a nonprofit and what is needed at the state and federal level as well as tips for after your application has been filed. There will be time for Q&A as well.

Who should attend this class? Those considering forming a nonprofit, including those who are looking to change from another entity type to nonprofit, or state nonprofits that have not yet applied for federal exemption, or those in the beginning stages of having formed.

Presented by: Elena Fewell Howard, JD, is an attorney barred in California who practices mostly in filing federal trademarks, nonprofit formation, business formation (mostly LLCs) and contract drafting/review for her small business clients. Elena works out of Davis, California (Yolo) where she has lived most of her life – outside of attending law school in San Diego, California. Her undergraduate degree is in social work and she believes her legal practice an extension of that, in that she delights in assisting small business owners in protecting their dreams and working collaboratively with them as they grow in whatever way makes the most sense for them.
