Intentional networking in areas your nonprofit needs

Harvest Abundance is a relaxed, autumn-themed networking event that combines intentional 15-minute conversations with experienced service professionals and casual connection through games and open networking.

Hosted by Narwhal Law and Strategy and The NarwhalPod, this event is designed to give participants both preparation and opportunity in a way that feels approachable, human, and useful.

Leadership and board members of nonprofit organizations are encouraged to attend this event to make important connections. Our hope is that you have engaging initial conversations with the service providers in areas your nonprofit needs support in, including technology, insurance, legal, bookkeeping, marketing, and more.

Event Details

Date: Tuesday, September 22

Time: 5:30 – 8:30 PM

5:30 to 6:00 PM arrival and open networking. Use this time to sign up for 15 minute 1:1 meetings with service providers

6:00 to 8:30 PM scheduled 15-minute meetings with breaks

15 minute meetings with service professionals at no cost. All you gotta do is register, show up & sign up on site.
Autumn attire encouraged but not required
Snacks and Games available throughout
Come prepared with questions. Leave clearer and cleverer.

How the Event Works
Starting at 5:30pm, participants sign up for 15-minute meeting slots with service providers they would like to meet. These conversations are focused, practical, and designed to help participants get clarity, direction, or next steps.

Between scheduled meetings, participants are encouraged to relax, connect, and reset through casual games like cards, jenga, connect 4, or cornhole. Games are optional and serve as a low-pressure way to meet others and reflect between conversations.

Event Flow
From 5:30 to 6:00 PM, participants arrive, check in, grab a snack, and ease into the space with open networking and games. Sign up for some 1:1 meetings with providers you want to meet.

From 6:00 to 8:30 PM, participants move through their pre-selected 15-minute meetings while using open time between slots to network or play games.

Participants may choose to meet with one service provider or several, depending on their interests and availability.

Who You Will Meet
Around 10 service professionals will be available, offering expertise in areas nonprofits need. Check the list in Eventbrite for the most recent list of nonprofit service professionals and their specialties.

We’ll explore the evolving legal landscape around artificial intelligence, including new federal and state laws, agency regulation and enforcement, current court cases, copyright and intellectual property, deepfakes, privacy, liability, and what businesses, nonprofits, and creatives should be watching next.

PLEASE NOTE This is an in-person event with an option to attend virtually. If you choose to attend virtually, we will send you the Zoom link one hour prior to the event.
