August Entrepreneur Mixer: BRAINSTORMING
5MLK is opening their doors for the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) August Entrepreneur Mixer from 5:00 – 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 3rd.
During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet ambitious founders and entrepreneurs with a broad range of expertise and skills that are open to building new relationships and strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem. All while enjoying the amazing views from the 6th floor deck of SE Portland’s newest mixed use building.
Based on suggestions from the last mixer we’ve chosen the topic of Brainstorming as the guiding conversation of the evening.
Brainstorming is used for spurring creativity when you’re looking for a solution to an entrenched problem in your startup — or starting a new business altogether. Some dream of hitting upon a flash of genius in the middle of the night, but most seasoned start up founders know there is no time to be wasted waiting for inspiration to strike.
Veronica Yanhs of Business Laid Bare will be on hand to guide the group through a fun and interactive brainstorming session and provide suggestions for how you can strengthen your individual and collaborative brainstorms.
