OEN’s monthly PubTalk™ is our flagship monthly happy hour — a perfect starting point for new community members and a great place for established members to make new connections.
Our Portland flagship PubTalk™ is held the second Wednesday of every month, and our Westside PubTalk™ is held the third Wednesday of every month.
OEN PubTalks are what the name implies — an hour of networking followed by a talk on a specified theme. And yes, they take place at a pub.
Our PubTalks usually kick off with a short pitch from an OEN member, followed by audience Q&A.
When we started our business a few years ago I had attended some local business meet-and-greets and I felt that they were a waste of time. So I stopped going to them. This is NOT the case with OEN. Every OEN PubTalk I’ve attended I’ve learned something new, or met a valuable connection or resource.”
