Event Details
All in the biotechnology startup ecosystem are welcome and encouraged to attend. We would like to connect clinicians, any one that takes care of patients, with technology people to help our patients. We would love to have nurses represented! We will have two expert speakers and networking.
Speakers include:
Richard Gellman, MD, completed his orthopedic residency at the University California San Francisco and two fellowships in foot and ankle reconstruction followed by trauma care. Dr. Gellman has traveled the world performing surgeries and changing the lives of people who have benefited from his expertise in bone healing.
Michael Bottlang, PhD, received his PhD in Biomechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa. He is the Founder and Director of the Legacy Biomechanics Laboratory. He holds over 20 patents, primarily in the orthopedic implant space. His team has introduced several products to the market place, including a pelvic sling that stabilizes pelvic fractures and a rib plating system to stabilize severe chest wall injuries. His further interests include the testing and development of bicycle helmets to reduce the incidence of brain injury.
Refreshments Provided. All in the life sciences community are invited. Thanks to Legacy Research Institute for hosting. Thanks to ThermoFisher for sponsoring.
