Food safety and sanitation expert, Nina Parkinson will cover the following topics in a four-hour training workshop:

  • Basic microbiology – the importance of clean equipment from the microbes perspective
  • Basic cleaning procedures – how to select appropriate cleaners and sanitizers and other issues to assure equipment is cleaned effectively
  • The importance of training – writing and following SOPs to assure equipment is clean
  • Verification – how do we make sure the sanitation crew did a good job
