This class is offered for students to learn the background and basics of three scopes of organic certification: crops, processing and livestock. You will learn what the USDA Organic seal means and how to properly label organic products, what it takes to get a farm or processing facility certified organic, and how inputs are approved for use in organic agriculture.
The course is limited to 10 students and 5 growers. An opportunity to learn and network!
