This training is a general overview on the microbial, physical properties, food handling practices, and cleaning and sanitizing practices that can affect the safety of processed foods. This session is designed for entrepreneurs, new employees, seasoned employees that need a refresher and for those who are thinking about starting a food business.
This is a recommended introductory course for those that are not familiar with FSMA, or those small businesses that are considering taking the 2.5 day standardized FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food training.
This course will be taught by FIC instructors Dr. Jovana Kovacevic and Ms. Doretta Claycomb, who are also certified Lead Instructors for FSMA Preventive Controls curriculum.
