Do you have an early-stage project or innovative idea but need to learn the basic components of biomedical product development? The Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute is pleased to offer the Biomedical Innovation Program fastPACE, a four-week course that provides scientists with the basic knowledge and tools to initiate the innovation and commercialization process.
The program is modeled after the successful National Science Foundation I-Corps program and adopted from University of Michigan’s Fast Forward Medical Innovation program. fastPACE combines in-person and online experiential education to help researchers and clinicians learn the basic components of biomedical commercialization and prepare a successful business case to secure funding, partnerships and further research opportunities. This course is appropriate for faculty, researchers, students, and industry scientists with an early stage idea or team with an idea. fastPACE instructors are experts from across the bioscience industry and academia with experience bringing healthcare technologies and therapeutics to market.
fastPACE is free. Registration is now open and seats are limited.
