The OEN PubTalk™ is our flagship monthly happy hour — a perfect starting point for new community members and a great place for established members to make new connections. The program will be preceded by time for casual networking. Registration begins at 5:15 p.m.
Cost: $15 for OEN members; $25 for non-members. We take walk-ins if space allows, but prices will be $20 for OEN members and $35 for non-members at the door. Beer, wine, and soda will be available for purchase.

OEN Board Member and Co-Founder of Bend Outdoors Works
Founder of Bend Outdoor Worx, Gary Bracelin serves as a current mentor for the program, and as an advisor to the Oregon Outdoor Alliance, an organization he also co-founded. He advises economic councils, government committees, and political allies to help continue to shape the outdoor industry in Oregon. With over 30 years of evolving outdoor industry experience, Gary is at heart an entrepreneur who specializes in launching and building businesses in emerging industries, and also serves on the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) board to support that mission.
Board Member, Oregon Outdoor Alliance (OOA)
Mike first worked in Outdoor retail while attending San Diego State University. That retail experience grew into a 30+ year career in the Outdoor Industry as a climbing instructor, entrepreneur, business leader, and advocate for outdoor recreation nationally and in Oregon.
Co-founder, Creative Capital Design
Britta is a gifted designer and maker with technical expertise and skill to design at both the macro and micro levels. She has over 25 years of experience as a swim and athletic apparel Designer & Director at Creative Capital Design. She is the Founder & Chief Editor at InsideFashionDesign.net. Britta Cabanos studied Apparel and Textiles at NDSU and Fashion Design at F.I.T. in New York City.
Consultant/Owner, Eric Meade-Purposeful Consulting
Eric Meade is the co-founder of Bend Outdoor Worx and a current mentor for the program. He consults to small and medium-sized businesses on building company strategy, financial plans that align with the plan, and leadership development to implement strategic plans. He is an architect and the former Owner/CEO of Entre Prises Climbing Walls.
Founder + CEO, Rumpl
Wylie is a brand designer-turned-entrepreneur through the successful crowdfunding launch of Rumpl in 2014, a brand that makes everyday blankets out of the performance materials commonly found in outdoor gear and activewear. 5 years after inception the brand is now venture-backed, globally distributed, and employs a 20-person team in NW Portland.
