Daniel Gossack

President, TimeMark Inc. & Hi-Tek Electronics

After 4.5 years as a high school math teacher, Daniel went to work in sales for his father’s traffic control equipment distribution business. Traffic data collection equipment was one of the products he had success. In 1992, he was a founding member of TimeMark Incorporated along with 8 others including his father and brother. Over the next 20 years, he went through lawsuits with shareholders, growth and recession, new product development, buying out other shareholders including many family members, and many other important business decisions. He likes to refer to this period as his MBA of hard knocks. During those years Daniel participated in a leadership forum that exposed him to many other companies and leaders. These monthly sessions served as support for these other companies. He learned solutions to many of the issues that face companies and their leaders. In 2013 he purchased an electronics contract manufacturing company, Hi-Tek Electronics. Putting his years of experience to work he has built it from 1.8 million in revenue the first year to 5.0 million in 2017. By focusing on getting the right people and improving processes he increased gross and net margins. Now with his love of teaching, business knowledge, and process experience he wants to help other businesses and their leaders. He specializes in manufacturing and financials.




Ernie Bootsma

Ernie Bootsma represents start-up and growth-stage businesses, as well as more mature companies in the areas of intellectual property (copyright, trademark, trade secret) media, licensing and entertainment law.  His practice encompasses the formation, financing, corporate governance, IP due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and transactional fields.  He has negotiated and closed complex merger and acquisition transactions, planned and counseled clients with regard to intellectual property protection and maintenance, provided internet/e-commerce, domain name, website, entertainment, media and advertising counseling and copyright advice, structured and implemented licensing and distribution arrangements, and handled debt and equity financing transactions for clients in a wide variety of industries.  Ernie also counsels physicians and physician practice groups in a wide variety of business structural issues in response to state and federal legislation.


Scott W. Davidson

Partner, White Summers

Scott has over two decades of experience in working with entrepreneurs and management teams of start-up and later-stage ventures across a broad spectrum of Pacific Northwest industry groups including consumer brands, apparel, footwear, entertainment, and technology. Scott leads the firm’s consumer brands practice group and frequently works with clients on key strategic issues including angel, venture and private equity financings, debt financings and strategic partnerships. Additionally, Scott has extensive experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, complex technology transfers, and intellectual property matters. Scott serves as a frequent presenter to industry and trade groups on topics related to entrepreneurship, angel, and venture investing, corporate leadership and building effective management teams.
