Dan Ellis

Dan chaired Angel Oregon in 2014 and has been actively involved as an investor and mentor. He is a seasoned sales leader/executive with 30 years of experience in the medical device space worldwide. Dan is skilled at assembling high performing direct and distributor sales teams that deliver strong results on a consistent basis and has meaningful experience in leading change.


Matt Bryant

Matt joined Arnerich Massena in 2006 and has more than 11 years of experience in the financial industry. His primary responsibilities include researching and sourcing new investment managers and completing ongoing due diligence, with a focus on private markets, particularly private equity, private real estate, and hedge strategies.

Julianne Brands

Julianne knows first-hand the valuable impact businesses can have on local communities. A former research analyst at an investment bank and an economic policy think tank, Julianne brings expertise in market research, finance, and emerging technology to help solve complex problems for entrepreneurs and investors alike.

Drew Smith

Drew is a professional investor known for his uniquely valuable insights with respect to strategy, business development, and structuring investments. He is an Associate partner at McKinsey, head of corporate development at Tripwire, and managing director of Intel Capital. A recipient of the OAF Archangel Award, Drew currently represents the fund on the boards of Jama, Chinook Book, and Veelo.

Jake Pflaum

Jake Pflaum joined 3×5 Partners in January 2016 where one of his key responsibilities is to conduct diligence on new opportunities. He has previously worked directly for the principals of a high net worth family and at a startup that provided foreign exchange trading services and market research for institutional investors. Jake graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in economics and physics and is a CFA Charterholder.
