OEN is only as strong as how much our membership gives back to maintain it. Whether it's implementing a new membership campaign or developing educational programs, helping with marketing or sponsorship or overseeing the finer details of our annual special events, our organization depends on the volunteer contributions of our members. How will you pitch in?
All eight OEN committees are working committees, so volunteer opportunities are infinite. The average time commitment is two to five hours per month a relatively small commitment when compared to the large benefits entrepreneurial startups reap from OEN's many programs and services.
Entrepreneurial Services
Develop, promote and produce the bulk of OEN's networking and educational programs for entrepreneurs.
Subcommittees include:
- PubTalk™ - help plan monthly events, including choosing discussion topics and recruiting panelists and emerging Northwest business presenters
- Entrepreneur Services and Executive Education Series assist in the production of essential business development programs for entrepreneurs at the heart of OEN's mission

Marketing
Plan and implement the organization's marketing and promotions strategies. Assist in the creation and review of all publicity materials. Support the media relations efforts, and help develop OEN's marketing guidelines.

Recruit new members. Retain existing members, and measure the organization's service level. Help develop membership guidelines, membership campaigns and evaluate efficacy of membership materials.

Spend a few rewarding months planning the development, promotion, and production of OEN's major special events: OEN Entrepreneurship Awards Dinner, Venture Northwest and Angel Oregon.

Serve on the OEN Web and technology committee. This hands-on committee is becoming increasingly critical to the success and growth of the organization as we try to provide additional resources online for OEN members and sponsors.
