"Sweat equity" - The entrepreneurial community thrives upon a liberal mix of sweat equity (volunteerism) and financial equity (access to capital). OEN is only as strong as how much our membership is involved. Whether it’s implementing a new membership campaign or developing educational programs, helping with marketing or sponsorship or overseeing the finer details of our annual signature events, OEN depends on the volunteer contributions of our members. How will you pitch in?
If you are already volunteering, thank you! Your volunteer efforts are critical to helping OEN continue to deliver quality programming to support entrepreneurs. Documenting volunteer value (time) helps OEN leverage grants and other funding. Please complete the form on the

All eight OEN committees are working committees, so volunteer opportunities are infinite. The average time commitment of two to five hours per month leverages very large benefits to the entrepreneurial startups in terms of OEN’s many programs and services.
Entrepreneurial Services
Develop, promote and produce the bulk of OEN's networking and educational programs for entrepreneurs.
Subcommittees include:
- PubTalk™ - help plan monthly events, including choosing discussion topics and recruiting panelists and emerging Northwest business presenters
- Entrepreneur Services and Executive Education Series assist in the production of essential business development programs for entrepreneurs at the heart of OEN's mission

Marketing
Plan and implement the organization's marketing and promotions strategies. Assist in the creation and review of all publicity materials. Support the media relations efforts, and help develop OEN's marketing guidelines.

Recruit new members. Retain existing members, and measure the organization's service level. Help develop membership guidelines, membership campaigns and evaluate efficacy of membership materials.
