Q. What does your company do?
A. Prolifiq is a messaging application that allows companies to organize, send and track the performance of their digital sales collateral. We accelerate sales cycles while meeting brand and government regulatory compliance requirements.
Q. What problem do you solve?
A. As Rick Turoczy of Silicon Florist so eloquently describes us: "Prolifiq is all about getting sales teams and marketing teams on the same page. And making marketing materials accessible to sales types no matter where they are. Long story short, it gives marketing a place to put materials and sales a place to get them - with mobile devices."
Q. What about your company is interesting?
A. What we hear from our customers, employees and our prospective employees is our culture. We are a very flat, transparent organization that celebrates intuition and listening. Simultaneously, we are very collaborative where all ideas are welcome and good – some are just better than others. All ideas must be able to sustain harsh, direct and continual challenge.
Q. What is the market potential?
A. Prolifiq’s primary focus this year is the Life Sciences market. The total available market for Prolifiq in the Life Sciences industry exceeds $600 million annually.
Q. What differentiates you from the competition?
A. Primary differentiators include our intellectual property, our design architecture (hybrid-SaaS, web-services based application), our vertical market specialization (high-tech, digital media, Life Sciences), and most importantly the knowledge and skill sets of our employees.
Q. Where are you in the lifecycle of your business?
A. We are an emerging growth company that has hit its inflection point. We have proven the business model and now need to scale.
Q. What is next?
A. Growth, growth, growth and our next vertical(s).
Q. Any advice for entrepreneurs?
A. Decide what you think is right and stick to it. However, be flexible enough to change your plans as circumstances dictate.
Q. Why are you involved with OEN, and what benefits have you received as a result of being a member?
A. Prolifiq is a very active member of OEN and we derive HUGE benefits from our membership. The primary things we get are: coaching and validation, and personnel development. I am not sure we would be where we are had it not been for the development we have received through membership in OEN.
