A. AMES Technology, Inc.
 
Q. Please provide a brief description of your company.  How long has your product/service/company been in the market?
 
A. AMES Technology Inc., founded in 2004, is an Oregon Health & Sciences University spinout, and is less than 18 months from bringing to market, a medical device for neuromuscular rehabilitation for stroke and other brain-injured patients. We have proven efficacy in a first set of clinical trials and papers have now been published. We are now in the final phase of a nationwide clinical trial.
 
Q. What business opportunity or challenge led you to develop your product or service?
 
A. A stroke occurs every 40 seconds leading to 750,000 victims a year. There are more 5.0 million permanently disable stroke victims in the US alone. Stoke is the leading cause of disability in US.
 
Q. How does your product or service meet that need?
A. Improve quality of life for millions of people
• Reduce the overall cost of stroke healthcare
• Create new revenue streams, improve utilization, and increase profits for medical facilities
• Business opportunity for our investors
